Birthday Cakes

Little Kenji's first birthday with Winnie the Pooh themed.
He is turning 2 soon, but this year I'm not going to make the cake.
This was before I even started learning about cakes in school!

Drunken bumble bee

 Pooh, Tigger, and Piglet

 My birthday cake!
No, it's just an origami cake.

Figurine, made with modeling chocolate, for my real birthday. Seungri from Big Bang!

Ah!! Daesungie-oppa!!! My sister was playing with it and accidentally broke the head off.

And replaced him next to G-Dragon-oppa like that...

Cake for one of my mom's co-worker. Spiderman and the web was made with royal icing.

Another cake of my mom's co-worker.

Plated Dessert

Plated dessert final on Bavarois with orange and chocolate sauce garnished with orange tuiles, pulled sugar, and chocolate decor.
Chef was not so happy about this one. I just went a little over board with the music theme... Ok maybe a lot. Food needs to talk for itself. Less is more. I need to go simple.

Bunny Mochi with Red Bean Sauce and Iced Green Tea Latte
Mochi filled with candied rice krispies.
This was the final for my special needs class. The candied rice krispies made it crunchy, which was a little creepy.

Green Tea Longan Danish

Green Tea Longan Danish for my creative viennoiserie assignment in breakfast pastry class. It was filled with a green tea pastry cream and Longan filling and glazed with a longan glaze.
